Welcome to Cove Acupuncture, now in brick and mortar!
And some Mercury retrograde news.
I am thrilled to report that I will be opening my own office this Tuesday, June 1st! But before I get into that, some of you might be thinking, “Has this newsletter changed?” or “I thought I unsubscribed to these?” You are right. Yesterday, to welcome the dawn of Mercury retrograde, I accidentally fully deleted the old newsletter and subscriber list and have had to start from scratch. So please feel free to unsubscribe again; I apologize if I’m making you do this a second time.
The New Office
I had been looking for my own space since before the lockdown. The gods were with me and kept me from signing a lease just prior to a global pandemic. I got lucky again when I resumed my search and found a place in the exact neighborhood I’d had my eyes on.
Cove Acupuncture and Functional Medicine is located at 4306 Melrose Avenue, in what’s called HelMel—Heliotrope and Melrose (I love LA’s fascination with the portmanteau), in East Hollywood. There’s a lot of pressure to create a gorgeous space after working at Poke and I hope I’ve created something that’s as comforting and beautiful while also reflecting my style. I love it in there and I hope you do too. (Photo disclaimer: some furniture items and art are still coming in and I am not a professional photographer.)
The other great news is that I’ll now have much better availability. New hours will be:
****And online scheduling is finally back! Here’s the link.
For now, Covid procedures are as follows:
All patients who are not fully vaccinated will fill out a Covid release form prior to each appointment.
Temperature checks for everyone entering the space.
All patients must wear masks at all times (I will be masked at all times and am fully vaccinated).
Rooms are sanitized between each patient and aired out for at least 30 minutes between patients.
Bathroom is sanitized between each patient.
Please arrive for your appointment on time (not early). If you need to come early, please go straight through to the back—there is an outdoor seating area where you may wait.
Please do not come in if you have any of the symptoms of Covid. Feel free to call or text me (323.4848.4560) if you’re feeling unwell and would like to discuss your symptoms or need to cancel. The late cancelation fee will be waived for anyone that thinks they might have Covid.
Lastly, I am increasing my prices for the first time since I started practicing to keep up with inflation. New rates will be $10 more—$160 for a new patient and $110 for a follow up. Please let me know if you have any issue with this.
I’m looking forward to seeing you in this new space!
